Location Shots (Planning)

I decided to take pictures of location shots so I could get a feel of what the lighting would be like and how busy the locations would be at the times we will be filming.  The locations our group decided to use was Barnard park, Bee's house and studio.
This is a few pictures of barnard which was a location we decided to use from the begining and is one of our main basstracks.

Final song choice (PLANNING)

Lily Allen’s song Smile is a heavy narrative song which is has a video which is illustration and disjuncture. Her video switches between her in a scene in her house and showing the revenge she has on her ex, there are various scenes such as; in a cafe, a club, streets and in the ex’s house. For our recreation of this video we are using a less illustrative approach as we found this difficult to plan and realised it would need a high budget and lots of time, which obviously we don’t have. our locations differ as we ill be filming in a park, studio and a house We are trying to keep the narrative as small as possible with loads of close ups, this should keep the lyrics of the song strong and leave people to think about it. Lilly added different parts of narrative which wasn’t said in her lyrics like beating her boyfriends up and smashing up his house this added extra meaning, we plan to do simple things  such as burning a picture of the boyfriend. Doing something simple with loads of shots will hopefully create extra meaning and leave some thoughts open for the audience. Lily ends her video of with her walking down a street; we plan to end it off with an extream close up of the burning picture with Bee smiling. I feel this is good ending as its a big ended which will mean alot.

This is our groups pitch, this is a presentation which shows majority of the planning for our music video smile, outfits, narrative locations and when we was going to film ect. I feel that this helped alot with the overall music video.

My initial ideas for my digipak (PLANNING)

After producing my music video I am going to create a 4 panel digipak. On the front I will have the artist's name with a picture of them taken from the music video, as well as the album's name. On the back there will be another picture taken from the music video. The back cover will include:

• Record Company information
• Track List
• Artist's photo
• Date
• Barcode
• Facebook Page
• Copyright

The first inside cover will be another picture from the video with thank yous and what inspired me to make the main video. The second inside cover will be the space for the CD, as well as a faded picture behind that. 

I want all the pictures and fonts to be taken from the music video I will create, this is so the target audience are able to make the link from the video and the digipak.

Lily Allen's album: Alright Still cover is black, white and pink so I will take inspiration from that and put it in my digipak.
