analysis of one clip from rough cut- Production
This is a clip from the rough cut of Bee- smile, this is one of the basstracks which is filmed me singing in the studio. This is used various times in the rough cut, our teacher suggest we refilm these as they dont look very excited to the viewer. This shot was very static and would work well with the lively narrative we had throughout. This shot is a long shot which im standing very still and theres no variation or difference. We took our teachers advice and refilmed theses shots When we refilmed it we had three different shots ( long shot, medium close up and side angle close up) and there was alot more movement and some actions for the words, for example when the lyrics goes " and it dont mean jack" i illiustrate the words with movement, we used a good range of cutting inbetween the differnet angles which made the overall music video look better and more instresting to see.I think changing the clip of me very static still changed alot.
Rough Cut Feedback (PRODUCTION)
This is a short clip of people saying one or a few words about or rough cut. this was mostly postitive feedback about the overall thing.
Some negative feedback on the rough cut was;
- Studio clips where too long and should be shorter as its a music video
-The walking basstrack should be refilmed as its shakey or another clip should be used
- the clip of the tearing a picture is too long.

Analysis of one clip from the rough cut (PRODUCTION)
The clip i will be analysing is the shot of the burning picture on the floor. I feel that this is not a good shot because we have zoomed in to the burning picture but then quickly moved the camera down, showing the burning photo. I dont think this works as the camera and zooming have been done to quickly, which doesn't show the shot as effective as it could be.
To make this shot better i believe we can work around the zooming and fast moving camera. To complete this we will edit around the zooming and camera movement by editing in the bass track, when Bee is singing in the studio. Where the zooming and camera movement should be we will cut in between the studio shots and the burning picture. By doing this i think the video ending will be much more powerful and effective.

Rough cut and feedback- production
This is my groups rough cut of Bee- smile our verision of Lily Allen's-smile.This was what we put together after filming and doing a bit of editting for our music video. We had to ask our teacher for critisims in order to gain feedback to gain a higer grade overall. Some of the critisisms he gave us was;
1. We need to add some varation to our angles for differnet locations.
2. We should consider re-filming our studio shots in order to make it a more professional and visally appealing video to the audience, because it would match the lively narrative. so movement in the studio shots would go with it better rather than the current very stactic ones.
3. we should take out certain basstracks such as the one where bee is walking in a park, which is a basstrack that is seen too many times. The filming is too shakey and doesnt look good, so either we need to change our basstrack or delte it.
4. Lastly the ending where we zoom into the burning picture should be cut as it is too long and isnt a good zoom as zooms are hard to pull off and too look good.
Some things we took from this critisim was to refilm the studio shots in differnet angles with movements in order to get the lively effect overall when we havent finished editting yet its starting to look a lot better.

Editing Our Video (PRODUCTION)
Editing our Video
We have finally finished our filming process, and we are moving onto our editing using Final Cut Pro. I think my group is finding it particularly hard of placing the narraitive in the right places. We found it hard to change the opacity of certain clips to get a nice effect to end our video on. We decided to finish it with the artist in the background with the burning photo on top. We criticized our video a lot to get the best grade we could, doing this we thought it would be best to re-film the studio shots as we didn't think it connected well with the audience.
Filming Session (PRODUCTION)
Filming in the studio (Session 2)
This was where we was trying to explore high angle shots.We never used them because we felt that it didnt covay what we wanted in the music video and generally looked like a bad shot.
Theses are shots from the studio which we had to film many times to get looking the best! Theses are pictures from shots we didnt use be where we explored differnet angles that we could use like long shot, low angle and close up. we also managed to test the lighting in theses shots, we didnt manage to use theses shot from a problem from the lighting it was too bright and didnt look good and also from the mise en scene error that there was a make up line down Bee's face.

Filming session (PRODUCTION)
Filming at Barnard Park (Session 2)
These are a few shots, we selected of location which was Barnard park. This was our second session at Barnard where we was more confident and daring with our shots to test what looked good. we managed to get one of our bass tracks in this filming session and our clip for the book in the shot reverse shot, this was only a short session and we did a lot of test clips so i felt it was productive.
Filming session (PRODUCTION)
Filming at Sammie's house
These is a shot of the pictures of me and the boy that get burned and stomped on during the video.
This is trying to test which shots looked good or not, we eventually used one of theses for our bass tracks.
Attempting to burn the picture, it was very windy and a cold day so this was a very hard task but looked very effective to film.
This is a part of our narrative which was an argument between me and the boy which was fun to act out.
